• New Research Project: Automatic segmentation of audio recordings to speech and music

    The Music Informatics Research Group is pleased to announce the new research project entitled: Automatic segmentation of audio recordings to speech and music.

    The 2-month, £5.9k mini-project is funded through the City University London Research Pump-Priming Fund; its aim is to improve state-of-the-art automatic speech-music segmentation technology and its applicability to the British Library’s World and traditional music collections.
